Veneno is a supercar manufactured and sold in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini that is the Italian sports car maker.
The above picture is Lamborghini Veneno of die cast miniature car toy “Tomica”, which was released by TOMY COMPANY,LTD of Japan on February 21, 2015.
The name of the Lamborghini sports car is often derived from legendary bullfighting.
Veneno is also the name of the bullfight that pierced Jose Sanchez Rodriguez in the Sanlúcar de Barrameda Stadium and killed him.
Lamborghini Veneno, which is based on such a legendary bullfight, is the ultra-class supercar with both absolute performance and style.
Although it is based on Aventador, CFRP monocoque structure is adopted for all chassis including exterior.
TOMY COMPANY reproduces the special super car whose whole sales is only three with about 70 mm die cast miniature car.
As the actual car is pretty rare super car, I can not help feeling that this miniature car toy is pretty deformed.
However, given the selling price of 450 yen, I think TOMY COMPANY is doing a pretty good job.
This die cast miniature car toy reproduces the Lamborghini emblem at the tip of the bonnet by printing.
The silhouette of the golden bullfight entering the black background is unclear, but the finish is enough to recognize that it is the emblem of Lamborghini.
Colored clear resin is used to the windshield and the side glass, and the interior can also be confirmed.
This die cast miniature car toy reproduces the special body color of Veneno with silver paint with pearl powder.
In addition, the angular Y-shaped headlamp part is painted separately by silver color that is not containing pearl powder.
It can not be noticed when looking at glance, but Tomica is made up well to such fine details.
The front part of Lamborghini Veneno is designed for the purpose of the perfect airflow and downforce.
This miniature car toy reproduces the carbon bumper part with black resin parts.
Although it reproduces a complicated shape that is considering aerodynamic performance at a considerable level, it receives a pretty cheaper impression because of the resin material.
Also, the red line of the front lip part that is set in actual Veneno is not reproduced in this miniature car toy.
Dynamic modeling from the front hood to the fender, such as fenders which have buldged in consideration of aerodynamic performance, is reproduced in this miniature car toy by the shape of die-casting.
As expected there is no dynamic irregularity as much as the actual car, but the shape itself has been reproduced at a considerable level.
Actual Veneno adopts the considerable dynamic shape.
Therefore, looking at this diecast miniature car toy from the front and rear or diagonally, it seems a little poor impression compared to the actual car.
Meanwhile, looking from the side, the volume feeling is incomprehensible, so it will be close to the atmosphere of the actual car.
In addition, the tires of actual Veneno are P ZERO of PIRELLI, red lines were painted around the tires.
The tire of this miniature car toy is a common type that is also used by other Tomica.
However, since there is a red line, it becomes an effective accent to increase the atmosphere of the actual car.
Lamborghini Veneno optimizes the aerodynamics of the rear part to stabilize cornering at high speed.
This miniature car toy reproduces quite complicated shapes, such as four large exhaust end pipes and dynamic diffusers, by the shape of die-casting.
There is no powerful impression, but it is faithfully reproduced.
I think that the impression has changed considerably if the red lines were drawed in each part like the actual Veneno.
Since the rear bumper of this miniature car toy is a black single color, I do not know the shape of each part unless looking carefully.
Lamborghini Veneno adopted the Y-shaped style also for the rear combination lamp.
This die cast miniature car toy also reproduces the rear combination lamp by the shape of the mold.
However, since it is not painted in red, I do not know where there is the lamp unless looking carefully.
Also, there is the emblem of the Lamborghini letters between the rear combination lamps, but this miniature car toy has not reproduced it.
Six openings are installed in the engine cover of Veneno to effectively dissipate heat from the engine.
In addition, the engine cover is integrated with the huge “Shark Fin” in the center.
This miniature car toy reproduces the opening part by the shape of die casting.
This die cast miniature car toy reproduces the movable rear wing of Veneno with a resin part different from the main body.
As it remains resin molded article without painting, the texture is quite low.
Moreover, the shape is also rounded feeling, I can not help denying the lack of force.
The blue car on the right is the miniature car toy of Lamborghini Countach.
Since this is Tomica Premium, the opening part of the engine cover is painted in black properly and there is a three-dimensional feeling.
Also, the huge rear wing of Countach is a resin molded article separate from the main body, but it is painted in the same blue color as the body.
Compared Tomica with Tomica Premium, you can see that there are considerable differences in the finish of details.
The scale of this miniature car toy is 1/67 and the actual size is about 74 mm.
Pseudo suspension which is familiar to sports cars of Tomica, is also set up to this model.

Veneno was equipped with a 6.5-liter V-type 12-cylinder engine.
With an enlarged intake pipe, a considerably reduced backpressure exhaust system etc., the engine for Veneno generated 750PS / 8, 400 rpm that was 50PS higher than the engine for Aventador.
Thanks to these thorough aerodynamics pursuits, weight savings and high power engines, Veneno showed amazing performance such as 0-100 km acceleration 2.8 seconds, top speed 355 km / h.
