• Introduction of Japanese die cast miniature car toy, Tomica

Aventador is a supercar with a V-type 12-cylinder engine manufactured by Lamborghini, an Italian sports car manufacturer.

Aventador SVJ, announced in August 2018, was a limited edition of 900 units, enhanced driving performance more.

The above picture is Lamborghini Aventador SVJ of die cast miniature car toy “Tomica”, which was released by TOMY COMPANY,LTD on November 16, 2019 in Japan.

LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR SVJ FRONT VIEWSurround the front of Aventador SVJ has been significantly changed from Aventador S of the catalog model.

The aerodynamic characteristic is thoroughly improved, such as equipping with a vent with a variable flap in the back of the nose splitter.

This miniature car reproduces the fine details of the bumper by the shape of die-casting.

Tomica usually expresses headlights with silver paint.

But the clear resin is used for the headlight part of this miniature car, and enhances realistic feeling.

However, the LED position lamp part is reproduced by white color printing, which is a little too noticeable.

I think it would have been better to print with light gray color.

LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR SVJ SIDE VIEWThis miniature car reproduces the side splitter made of carbon with the under parts.

Like the actual car, a large logo is printed on the rear fender, so you can recognize it as “SVJ” at a glance.

The air intake behind the door of Aventador SVJ opens fairly widely.

This miniature car reproduces the shape of the air intake at a considerable level.

However, the protrusion is small, and it does not feel the ferocity like the actual car.

LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR SVJ REAR VIEWAventador SVJ adopts an exclusively designed rear diffuser and an upward exhaust system that helps the improvement of aerodynamic characteristics.

This miniature car reproduces those shapes quite finely.

On the other hand, the rear combination lamp with a complicated shape represents only the shape of the taillight part by red printing.

The rear wing of Aventador SVJ is equipped with a variable aerodynamic device “ALA” system that takes in air from the base of wing and discharges it through a slit provided behind the wing.

This miniature car reproduces the rear wing by integrally molding with the body, but the height is not enough and the shape is not good.

The rear wing of Aventador SVJ is a prominent item, so it has a very disappointing finish.

The scale of this die-cast miniature car is 1/68, and the actual size is about 71 mm.

Aventador LP700-4 is a 4WD supercar announced at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011 as a successor of Lamborghini Murcielago.

The body is a carbon fiber monocoque, adopting a push rod type suspension.

The transmission is the semi-automatic only, and it carries a newly designed V-type 12-cylinder engine.

The power performance of Aventador LP700-4 announced by Lamborghini is 0-100 km / h acceleration is less than 2.9 seconds, the maximum speed is over 350 km / h.

It adopts a performance selector, and you can select the driving characteristics from the following three types.

・ “Strada” mode: weak under tendency, suitable for running on public roads

・ “Sports” mode: Shift feel becomes more sharp

・ “Corsa” mode: Suitable for driving on the circuit, you can experience ferocious acceleration

In 2012, the open model, Aventador LP700-4 Roadster was announced.

Also, Lamborghini Centenario, developed based on the Aventador LP700-4, was announced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016.

Centenario was limited production with 20 coupes and 20 roadsters.

Aventador has evolved into Aventador S (LP740-4) which introduced the latest technology from the 2017 model.

The V-type 12 cylinder engine for Aventador S has the maximum output up to 740 horsepower.

In addition, “Ego” mode was added to the performance selector.

In Ego mode, you can customize according to the preference of the driver based on the settings of Strada, Sport, Corsa.

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is a high-performance model announced in August 2018.

In 1969, Lamborghini made only one experimental car, Jota (J), based on the company’s Miura.

The original Jota disappeared due to the accident, but several units of Jota SVJ, the Lamborghini-recognized replica model, were produced based on Miura.

Aventador SVJ is a supercar that has revived the legendary naming of “SV (Super Veloce) and J (Jota)”.

Aventador SVJ is a limited model with 900 units.

The 6.5-liter V-type 12-cylinder engine generates 770 horsepower due to the light weight of the intake valve by using titanium and the adoption of an aggressive cam profile etc.

Also, ALA, Lamborghini’s unique variable aerodynamics, has evolved into “ALA 2.0” for Aventador SVJ.

With these significant performance improvements, Aventador SVJ has recorded the fastest time of 6 minutes 44 seconds 97 among mass production vehicles at the Nordschleife in Nurburgring.
